The term interpretation refers to the process of making a Meaning from a text. All texts can be interpreted in a idfferent way depending on the reader.

Types of Readings §

Dominant Reading §

The most popular reading for most people, it is the normal way to interpret a text.

Alternate reading §

any interpretation that is different from the dominant reading, it is usually focused on nuances, or little gaps or saliences to create meaning that is grounded but not emphasised.

Resistant reading §

Contradicts the dominant itnerpretation, and challanges the assumptions underlying the text.
